Anxiety can have a huge impact on people’s lives. It may be stopping you from living the life you desire, going for that promotion, meeting the person of your dreams or even just simply going shopping. This is often accompanied by avoidance tactics where the person will go to extremes to avoid the ‘scary’ or anxious event. The onset of anxiety or a panic attack can happen at any time often simply by thinking about the event. It may continue long after the ‘danger’ has passed.
